About Dr. Arianne Tang

Dr. Arianne Tang (PSB 94026534) is a professional psychologist who developed a passion for the field during her middle school years. As a child, she saw how important addressing mental health was to the overall well-being of her loved ones and started working towards her dream of becoming a therapist. Since then, she dedicated her life to becoming a clinical psychologist, and uses a holistic and integrative framework with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity and competency in her approach.

Dr. Tang has always taken a special interest in working with marginalized communities. As an undergraduate student, she interned at Gompers Charter Middle School and as a lab assistant for a cognitive development facility researching language development in infants and toddlers. As a graduate student, she completed her practicums at the Early Head Start program at Through the Looking Glass, Bay Area Community Resources, Psychological Services Center, and Davis Street Family Resource Center. Dr. Tang completed her APA accredited internship at Child and Family Guidance Center in Los Angeles. Over the years, Dr. Tang has treated a wide range of disorders including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, sexual and gender identity, and grief and loss with diverse populations of all ages. She specializes in working with adolescent and young adult populations who struggle with managing their stress, anxiety, and depression during life transitions and difficult economic and social times.

After graduating Cum Laude from UC San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Dr. Tang received her master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from the Teacher’s College at Columbia University. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2020 from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco.
