About Dr. Tovar 

 

Supatra Tovar (LIC #PSY31949) is a licensed clinical psychologist, registered dietitian, and fitness expert with a unique, integrative approach to mental health. She specializes in helping clients manage anxiety, chronic stress, depression, trauma, eating difficulties, and autism by blending evidence-based psychotherapy with somatic and mindfulness practices that support whole-person healing. Driven by her clients’ breakthroughs, Dr. Tovar founded ANEW—Advanced Nutrition and Emotional Wellness—a platform dedicated to empowering individuals with tools for lasting mental and emotional well-being. She is also the award-winning author of the best-selling Deprogram Diet Culture: Rethink Your Relationship with Food, Heal Your Mind, and Live a Diet-Free Life and the creator of the companion online course designed to break the cycle of dieting and promote sustainable well-being. About Dr. Arianne Tang

Dr. Arianne Tang (LIC #PSY36618) is a licensed clinical psychologist who developed a passion for the field during her middle school years. Since then, she has dedicated her life to becoming educated and developing skills in the field of psychology, and uses a holistic and integrative framework with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity and competency in her approach.

Dr. Tang completed her practicums at the Early Head Start program at Through the Looking Glass, Bay Area Community Resources, Psychological Services Center, and Davis Street Family Resource Center. Dr. Tang completed her APA accredited internship at Child and Family Guidance Center in Los Angeles.

Over the years, Dr. Tang has worked with a wide range of issues across the lifespan. She specializes in working with adolescent and adult populations who struggle with issues related to neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism), anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and eating disorders in diverse populations of all ages. She emphasizes meeting each client where they are with compassion and nonjudgment and works from a systemic lens.

After graduating Cum Laude from UC San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Dr. Tang received her master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from the Teacher’s College at Columbia University. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2020 from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco.
